We study eight different gamma-ray burst (GRB) data sets to examine whether current GRB measurements — that probe a largely unexplored part of cosmological redshift (z) space — can be used to reliably constrain cosmological model parameters. We use three Amati-correlation samples and five Combo-correlation samples to simultaneously derive correlation and cosmological model parameter constraints. The intrinsic dispersion of each GRB data set is taken as a goodness measurement. We examine the… Expand

Cosmology with gamma-ray bursts: I. The Hubble diagram through the calibrated $E_{\rm p,i}$ - $E_{\rm iso}$ correlation

- Physics

Model-independent distance calibration of high-redshift gamma-ray bursts and constrain on the ΛCDM model

- Physics

Gamma-ray bursts (GRBs) are luminous enough to be detectable up to redshift z similar to 10. They are often proposed as complementary tools to Type Ia supernovae (SNe Ia) in tracing the Hubble… Expand

Measuring dark energy with the $E_{\rm iso}-E_{\rm p}$ correlation of gamma-ray bursts using model-independent methods

In this paper, we use two model-independent methods to standardize long gamma-ray bursts (GRBs) using the $E_{\rm iso}-E_{\rm p}$ correlation, where $E_{\rm iso}$ is the isotropic-equivalent… Expand

Cosmology with Gamma-Ray Bursts

Gamma-Ray Bursts (GRBs) are the brightest sources in the universe, emit mostly in the hard X-ray energy band and have been detected at redshifts up to ~8.1. Thus, they are in principle very powerful… Expand
